Teenager threatened with knife, robbed

A 16-YEAR-OLD Springvale teenager was threatened with a hunting knife during a robbery last week.
Police said the teenager got off a school bus at the corner of Springvale and Patterson roads in Springvale South and started to ring his mother on his mobile phone about 4.30pm.
Police said a man then approached him, produced a hunting knife and demanded the mobile phone.
After taking the phone, the man then fled along Northgate Drive. The man is described as Caucasian, in his mid-20s, about 182cm, of medium build with dark hair and wearing a zip-up blue jacket and jeans at the time of the robbery.
