Teen girl stabbed

A KEYSBOROUGH teenager was punched and stabbed during a dispute in Cranbourne on Sunday night.
The 17-year-old girl was in a park off Clarendon Street about 11pm when two men and a woman confronted her.
The girl was punched to her right eye and received a stab wound to her lower abdomen. She then sent a text message to her friends saying that she had been assaulted and stabbed. They arrived on the scene and rushed her to Dandenong Hospital.
Her friends then went back to the scene and found a knife, which they handed in to police. Police have not yet determined whether it was used in the assault on the girl. The teenager was operated on at the Dandenong Hospital and is in a stable condition.
