THE Dandenong Tennis Club is holding a Multicultural Tennis Day this Saturday as a part of Tennis Victoria’s Multicultural Tennis Program.
The day is designed to bring together the diverse cultures of Dandenong, and have a hit of tennis at the same time.
The club says all are welcome at the event, which will include a sausage sizzle and free on-court activities from 11am.
Tennis Victoria Inclusive Programs coordinator Tim Hatzi said the program was about providing a welcoming, inclusive environment for anyone wanting to play tennis.
“The Multicultural Tennis Day is an opportunity for the culturally diverse community of Dandenong to experience the positive and fun environment that the club has to offer,” he said.
