A KEYSBOROUGH business brought smiles to thousands of mums on Mother’s Day.
Commercial nursery Karinga sent 150,000 chrysanthemums to supermarkets and other stores across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
Owner Roy Schirmer said the blooms were naturally in season during autumn and could last for weeks indoors and would flower again next year if planted in a garden.
The family business has been growing in Keysborough for about 40 years.
