MORE than 100 locals joined the City of Greater Dandenong Band to celebrate the festive season last night (Wednesday).
The band performed at the Drum Theatre featuring many favourites including Christmas carols and selections from Walt Disney movies and Broadway hits. The audience was mesmerised by their musical talent.
Guest artist Robert Dugdall, who has sung with Opera Victoria, wowed the crowd with his vocals.
President of the band, Ted Lawson said the band was quite popular throughout Dandenong.
“We have up to 30 musicians playing at one time, which is great for us, especially at the Drum Theatre,” Mr Lawson said. “It is a magical, terrific venue – we all love performing here.”
