CHRISTMAS can be a difficult time for many people, so this year the team at NAB Springvale are making it a little easier by helping the fundraising efforts of local group Springvale Community Aid Bureau.
NAB Springvale branch manager Berrin Kuzucu said this was a great opportunity to share the Christmas spirit with the local community.
“NAB recognises the positive impact that Springvale Community Aid Bureau has on the Springvale and local community and the team wanted to help them make this time of year special for those who may not otherwise have a reason to celebrate,” she said.
Mark Melvin, Victorian general manager for NAB Retail Banking, said the Christmas hamper could be raffled to help raise much needed cash.
“Donating the hamper is a way of helping charities with their fundraising. By providing a prize, Springvale Community Aid Bureau can concentrate on raising money,” he said.
NAB will donate 220 hampers containing a range of Christmas food such as puddings, nuts and biscuits to charities across Victoria and Tasmania this Christmas.
