NOBLE Park Heated Swim Centre will offer halfprice entry for poolgoers every Tuesday of this month between 3pm and 6pm to help kickoff the summer.
The City of Greater Dandenong has recently spent $50,000 on the pool to replace and add shaded areas around the pool grounds. The pool centre manager, Clair McGarrigle, said there would be a ‘happy hour’ on the water slide, with a $2 fee covering unlimited rides between 4pm and 5pm on Tuesdays.
The pool also offers a variety of fitness classes and groups.
“There are so many programs taking place at the centre over the summer period including walking groups, ‘push the pram’ groups, soccer training, a lifestyle group, Fab Abs, squad training and swimming lessons,” she said.
“But if residents just want to spend time at the centre relaxing, they can enjoy a picnic on the grounds making use of our barbecue facilities.”
The centre is on the corner of Memorial Drive and Heatherton Road, Noble Park.
