FIRE crews from Springvale and Noble Park went to Keysborough’s Hungry Jack’s last Thursday, but not for a meal.
Both Country Fire Authority (CFA) units had just attended a car crash on Springvale Road when residents reported seeing flames bursting through the roof at the takeaway outlet in Cheltenham Road, Keysborough, at 4pm.
Noone was injured and the fire caused minimal structure damage.
Dandenong CFA photographer Keith Pakenham said crews believed the fire may have been caused by an electrical fault.
“Firefighters entered the roof area via an internal manhole and removed roof panels to gain access to the seat of the fire,” he said.
