AN ARREST warrant issued by the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court has been rescinded following a miscommunication between Magistrate Edwin Batt and a court clerk last week.
The Dandenong Star reported that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of a man charged with impersonating a Vietnam veteran after he failed to appear in court. Colin Maurice Gibbons, of Dandenong, appeared briefly at the court premises but was granted an adjournment by the registrar before leaving the premises. Mr Gibbons is listed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 20 January.
