Melbourne Bakmaha Ulela marked Sri Lankan New Year in Dandenong.
The Sunday 8 April event at Greaves Reserve featured traditional Sri Lankan games, food and dancing plus free carnival rides.
There was also a musical show featuring Sri Lankan artists and a fireworks display to cap off the festivities.
