Park needs a name

The Keysborough South community can help to name its newest park.

Greater Dandenong Council is asking for public feedback on a name for the newly-transformed reserve on the corner of Stanley Road and Westwood Boulevard.

Locals informally refer to the space as Tyers Reserve, Stanley Reserve and Sarahlands Reserve.

Until recently it was a large, empty field but now includes a playground, barbecues, shelters and a half-court basketball area.

Feedback is open until 5pm on Friday 29 June.

Residents can submit their ideas to the council’s governance manager via council@cgd.vic.gov.au; Greater Dandenong City Council, PO Box 200, Dandenong, VIC 3175; or at the council’s customer service centres.

Visit www.greaterdandenong.com for more information.

Let the Journal know your idea via www.facebook.com/DandenongJournal.
