VicRoads is reminding motorists to avoid Heatherton Road in Noble Park.
It’s closed at the rail line in both directions so workers can remove railway tracks and asphalt the road surface around the new Noble Park station precinct.
It is due to reopen on Monday 18 June.
Signed detours are in place along Corrigan, Chandler, Kelvinside and Lightwood roads and Douglas Street.
VicRoads said delays were expected and drivers should avoid the area if possible.
