An unknown intruder has broken into and extensively damaged a factory in Dandenong South.
The offender is believed to have smashed a front window to enter the factory in Egan Road about 3.23am on 9 September.
A fire was then started that engulfed the worksite.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives believe an accelerant was used.
