By Lia Bichel
The first incident occurred on 21 February at about 12.15am on Gladstone Road, Dandenong.
Police said a Dandenong North man, 30, was walking south on Gladstone Road when a Holden Commodore VS series I or VX model pulled up behind him.
The passenger in the car threatened to shoot the Dandenong North man if he didn’t hand over his wallet but the man ran from the scene.
The passenger in the car was described as being aged 20 to 25 with short brown hair, and the driver was described as being between 75 and 80 kilograms, with short brown hair wearing a white T-shirt.
The second incident happened on 1 March, between 7.15pm and 7.30pm on Douglas Street and Heatherton Road, Noble Park.
Police said a 16-year-old Noble Park boy was filling his bike tyres with air at a service station when a boy aged about 17 years old struck up a conversation with him.
The 17-year-old followed the 16-year-old and told him he had a knife and demanded his wallet and PIN.
On 2 March at about 12.30am at the Dandenong train station, a 39-year-old man and 45-year-old man were brutally attacked by four Sudanese men.
Police said one of the men in the group headbutted the 45-year-old, kicked him and stole his wallet and another man punched the 39-year-old and also stole his mobile phone.
A taxi driver intervened and detained one of the Sudanese men while the other three ran from the scene.
The 39-year-old received a cut to his head and a dislocated shoulder.
The fourth incident occurred on 6 March at 7.30pm.
A Noble Park North man was walking near the corner of Walker Street and Mason Street, Dandenong when he was pushed to the ground by two men in front of a bus stop and they stole his umbrella.
The men are both described as Caucasian, in their early twenties, with short blond hair and were wearing dark track pants.
The last incident occurred on 8 March at 8.45pm.
Police said a 28-year-old woman was waiting for her husband on the top level of the Dandenong Railway Station, when three women approached her and asked for $5.
When the 28-year-old refused, one of the women demanded her phone.
When the 28-year-old said she did not have a phone, the woman grabbed her hair and her bag, and another woman punched her in the face about six times before leaving the station.
The 28-year-old received minor swelling and redness on her face.
Anyone with information about any of these incidents is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
