POLICE are warning people to be wary of counterfeit notes after one was passed at a take-away store in Dandenong this month.
On 3 March, a fake $50 note was used at the take-away store and it was only discovered after shopkeepers realised it was paper and the clear window on the note was of poor quality.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
