POLICE are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in Dandenong last week.
Police said about 9pm on Friday 16 July, the Dandenong Fire Brigade was called to a fire at an abandoned house on David Street.
The fire caused minor damage to the bedroom and the kitchen.
Police said investigators believe the fire was deliberately lit with materials available in the house.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the blaze or have any information regarding the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Dandenong CIU on 9767 7678.
