A CAR crashed into a house in Dandenong North yesterday morning.
Police are investigating the incident where a driver lost control of his car and ran into the wall of the single story brick house in Fletcher Street about 2.15am.
An elderly woman and her son were asleep in other rooms in the house when the car collided with the building.
The car damaged the unoccupied room of the house, with the front of the vehicle up to the windscreen, crashed through the wall.
SES personnel were called in to prop up the roof so the car could be removed.
Police will question a 40-year-old man over the crash.
