A 14-year-old boy was hit on the head with a metal pipe in Doveton on the weekend.
The boy was walking along Tristania Street between 12.30am and 1am on 21 November when a dark coloured vehicle pulled up beside him.
A group of people got out of the car and approached the boy and hit him on the head with a metal object. Police said the boy’s wallet was also stolen.
The boy was taken to Dandenong Hospital. If anyone has information call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
