PULL out the bobby socks, drainpipe jeans and pedal pushers because the Springy Rock is coming back.
Greater Dandenong mayor Roz Blades first held the event while mayor in 1992 and is excited to bring back the rock’n’roll event to celebrate the end of her third mayoral term.
“I am encouraging people to dust off their dancing shoes, get dressed up in classic 1950s attire and enjoy a fantastic night of musical entertainment,” Councillor Blades said.
Honey B and the Stingers will provide the rockin’ tunes, and a buffet meal andcompetitions will ensure the night isone to remember.
Springy Rock will be held on Saturday 19 November and tickets are $35.
All proceeds will go to the Noble Park Special Development School.
