A BLACK spot intersection in Noble Park will receive a $103,000 upgrade.
The intersection of Kingsclere Avenue and Corrigan Road will receive a full controlled right turn and right turn lane to improve traffic flow, particularly into Parkmore Shopping Centre.
Federal Isaacs MP Mark Dreyfus said the $103,000 upgrade will improve safety for everyone who used the intersection.
“The upgrade to the Corrigan Road and Kingsclere Avenue intersection will improve safety for motorists and pedestrians using this busy intersection and will assist traffic flow in Kingsclere Avenue which is a feeder road to the Parkmore Shopping Centre,” Mr Dreyfus said.
“This important investment by the Federal Government is helping to make our local roads in Noble Park safer.”
The upgrade is part of the Federal Government’s Black Spot program.
