RIZAN Mawzoon helped Noble Park claim first day honours against Box Hill as they restricted the home side to 175 all out at Box Hill City Oval.
Mawzoon broke the opening partnership of 78 by getting Paul Dunlop (34) to snick one to Noble Park keeper Dirk Vandergert and struck again soon after to remove Box Hill number three Grant Hanson for two. Box Hill collapsed under the pressure from Mawzoon and Marasinghe Perera (3/34) to lose their last eight wickets for 57 runs. Aaron West top scored for Box Hill on 61.
Noble Park’s other wicket taker was Shane Mleczek who took 2/13 from eight overs.
