Christmas fun rules streets

THE Dandenong Retail Traders Association has ensured central Dandenong will be filled with Christmas cheer this festive season.
A range of entertainers will tour Dandenong during the lead-up to Christmas to amuse the young and young at heart.
Traders association chairman Roy Aspinal said the entertainment would take place on four days before Christmas.
“Annual entertainment has proven popular with shoppers as they go about their Christmas shopping,” Mr Aspinall said.
“We appreciate the support of the City of Greater Dandenong and it adds so much to the general feeling of goodwill in what is the state’s largest shopping precinct outside of Melbourne Central.”
The featured entertainment will be on the following days:
Friday 16 December, from 11.30am to 1.30pm: Singing Christmas Tree.
Saturday 17 December, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm: Christmas Elves Duo.
Tuesday 20 December, 11am to 1pm: Tall Christmas Elf. From 11.30am to 1.30pm: Trevor Major Duo.
Friday 23 December, from 11.30am to 1.30pm: Christmas Elf Simon and Lounge Trio.
