Students, staff and parents came dressed to impress, taking recycled clothing to inventive lengths at Athol Road Primary School on Melbourne Cup Eve.
As part of full day of Cup celebrations, the Springvale school held ‘fashions on the field’.
Models took to the catwalk in recycled material hats as well as their best suits and frocks.
That was followed by a shared morning tea, special lunch and house sports. The grand finale was the staff and parents Melbourne Cup race.
