Twilight racing at Sandown

THE first Sandown twilight race meeting for the season will be run on Friday, 2 March.
The concept of Friday twilight race meetings was trialed at Sandown in February 2004 and proved a success.
While this season there is just one twilight meeting at the track, however there will be a further Friday meeting on 27 April after the end of daylight savings.
Gates open at 1pm on 2 March and the seven-race program will be run on the Sandown Hillside track with the first race at 2.40pm and the last at 6.30pm.
