Volleyball scores big with stadium

A NEW state volleyball centre will headline a major upgrade to the Dandenong Basketball Stadium due for completion by 2010.
Six volleyball courts and three indoor beach volleyball courts will be the focus of the Stud Road stadium redevelopment, which will be configured to house the administration of Volleyball Victoria.
Refurbishment of the reception area and kiosk will also prepare the stadium for increased usage.
Car parking spaces will increase from 416 to 532.
When completed, the new State Volleyball Centre will provide City of Greater Dandenong residents with unprecedented access to state-of-the-art volleyball and beach volleyball facilities.
