GREATER Dandenong Council wants your suggestions on how to improve the city.
The council is now planning projects for the 2007-08 City Improvement Program (CIP) and says it wants ratepayers to dictate the direction it should take.
Mayor Peter Brown said submissions would close on 30 November.
“CIP is a process used to identify and prioritise public capital works within the city and this process significantly assists council to make investment decisions by targeting resources and funds to areas of greatest need,” he said.
“It is important we plan for the future but it is more important to listen to the suggestions made by the residents.”
For more information contact Hai Nguyen on 9239 5379.“This is a chance for people to let council know what infrastructure needs are required for the city to move forward and the best way to find out people’s needs is to get their valuable feedback.”
