Investigation into bike dispute

POLICE have interviewed several Noble Park residents over an alleged assault that took place following a dispute over a bicycle.
About 4.30pm on 10 March, two 14-year-old youths believed to be twin brothers, and a group of six to eight other youths, approached a 22-year-old man who police believe was known to the teenagers.
Following an argument, police believe one twin was punched which resulted in lacerations and swelling to his face. Another man, aged 56, emerged from a nearby house wielding a bat. Police believe one twin was hit with the bat, causing bruising to his ribs. All parties have been interviewed by police and released pending summons.
