Bulls charge at finals

Glen Atwell
THE Noble Park Bulls continued their charge toward the Eastern Football League Division One finals with a 72-point thumping of Mitcham on Saturday.
However, the Bulls were not in cruise control and trailed the seventh-placed Tigers at both quarter and half-time.
A seven-goal-to-two third quarter helped set up the comfortable win.
Brent Williams kicked seven goals for the Bulls, while William Sangster and Gavin Vassallo booted two each.
Having cemented second position on the ladder, the Bulls take on third-placed Donvale at Pat Wright Reserve this Saturday.
The Donvale Blues are playing top football at the business end of the season and the Bulls must come out firing in the first half this Saturday.
East Burwood and East Ringwood must win to keep their finals hopes alive.
Both teams play sides outside the top four and percentage will be the deciding factor in the race for the elusive fourth spot.
