A PUBLIC health specialist will challenge incumbent Dandenong MP John Pandazopoulos for his seat in November’s state election.
The Liberal Party last week announced that Dr Frank Dawood, 34, would stand as its candidate for Dandenong.
Dr Dawood works for the Department of Human Services and holds a Master of Public Health/Health Services Management degree from Monash University.
“I decided to step forward as a candidate for Dandenong for the 2006 state election because I am passionate about providing better services and strong representation for our multicultural community,” he said.
Dr Dawood said he would push for enhanced aged-care services, tax relief and improved public safety if elected.
