Checking out dance moves

SATURDAY day fever hit Westfield Fountain Gate last week as young people from Melbourne’s south-east danced-off for a chance at fame.
A shopping centre tour and dance competition to promote the forthcoming television show So You Think You Can Dance Australia came to Westfield on Saturday at centre court. The competition was divided into two categories – junior and senior – and dancers registered on the day, either solo or in groups.
But the highlight of the day’s dancing was crowd favourite Mim Eguidzarian from Rowville who won the junior competition while donning a custom made T-shirt that read ‘Lil Mim’.
