POLICE were searching for a crowbar-wielding bandit who robbed Noble Park Post Office this week.
Police said the man entered the Douglas Street post office at 5pm on Monday carrying a crowbar hidden in a plastic bag.
The man approached the counter, pulled out the crowbar and demanded a staff member fill the bag with cash.
Police said the staff member and another employee ran from the counter to a back room.
The bandit jumped the counter, opened the till and stole cash before fleeing on foot.No staff were injured during the robbery, police said.
