THIEVES have stolen major kitchen appliances from a house that is being renovated in Dandenong.
A silver oven, stove, dishwasher and rangehood were stolen from the King Street property between 6pm on 4 January and 6.30am on 5 January.

A 40FOOT shipping container has been stolen in Dandenong South.
The container was taken from Stephen Road between 5pm on 4 January and 7.30am on 5 January. The blue container’s serial number, INKU2826879, was printed on the side and back doors. TWO men and two women have been questioned over the theft of copper rod from Dandenong South at Christmas.
One man was charged and the other three released on summons on 6 January after 11 tonnes of copper valued at $73,000 was recovered.
A 36yearold Skye man was charged with trafficking amphetamine, four counts of handling stolen goods and one of possessing proceeds of crime.
He was ordered to appear before the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 15 February.
A 34yearold McCrae man, 27yearold Carrum Downs woman and 30yearold Skye woman were all released on summons.
FIVE people have been arrested in Dandenong after stolen credit cards were used to buy computers at a computer shop in Thomas Street.
Three women and two men were arrested for deceptions involving the fraudulent purchase of the computers, valued at $5000, with stolen credit cards. A 48yearold St Kilda man was charged with three counts of obtaining property by deception and one of theft.
A Footscray man, 42, was charged with 15 counts of obtaining property by deception.
They were both bailed to appear before the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 24 February.
A 23yearold Moonee Ponds woman, 39yearold Footscray woman and 16yearold girl were released pending summons.
