Man charged with 36 offences

A NARRE WARREN man has been charged with 36 offences including burglary, theft, handling stolen goods and possessing a pistol silencer.
Lirim Salievski, 29, has been remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 5 July.
He was arrested at Palm Plaza in Dandenong on 11 April after police appealed for help in finding him. Salievski had failed to appear before court on two occasions in March on separate charges.

A DANDENONG shop assistant was cut in the face after a confrontation with a customer on Monday.
Dandenong Police said staff at the Cleeland Street JB Hi Fi store suspected a man was shoplifting.
But when two staff members and a security guard approached him about 1pm, he assaulted one employee with an unknown object cutting the man’s face.
Police said the injured 32-year-old employee received medical attention.
Police are reviewing store security footage and are also appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
The man is described as being in his early 20s, about 5’8” tall, of medium build, wearing a light coloured hat with a black-hooded top.
He was last seen running north of the store towards the Dandenong Hospital.
