On Monday 3 December at 11pm, a 20-year-old Dandenong man was at the corner of Foster and Robinson Streets in Dandenong, at Dandenong Train Station, when three men approached him and asked him for money. Police said the 20-year-old refused and the three men each punched him in the head. The men stole a mobile phone and jewellery from the man before police were called to the scene. The 20-year-old suffered bruising and police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.

A MAN was asked for a cigarette before being beaten and robbed in central Dandenong last week. The attack happened on Robinson Street as the 20-year-old Dandenong man walked towards the train station at 11.40pm on Tuesday 11 December.
Police said six men of African appearance approached the man and asked for a cigarette.
They then grabbed the lone man and patted him down to find and then steal his wallet. Police said one of the six men then punched the Dandenong man in the face. The Dandenong man ran to the train station and reported the incident to police the next day.
