Sandown race dates locked in

SANDOWN hosted the first race meeting of the season yesterday (Wednesday), with 39 meetings, including five feature racedays, scheduled for the track in 2007-08.
Meetings will be evenly spread throughout the year with three to four meetings every month, with the exception of October.
Sandown will host more than a third of the Melbourne metropolitan race meetings set down for the season.
During the 2007-08 racing season there will be six Saturday meetings and two on Sundays, together with 30 on Wednesdays and one Friday meeting.
