THE Dandenong Rangers Big V Championship women registered their first win of 2007 with a 37-point mauling of the Geelong Cats at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium on Saturday night.
Melissa Colcott was the stand-out player in the 79-42 win, scoring a game-high 21 points and collecting 12 rebounds. Meagan Green netted 16 points and was also impressive, while the Cats were without a single scorer in double figures.
The Rangers endure a double-header this weekend, travelling to Bulleen on Saturday night before returning to Dandenong on Sunday to play Coburg.
