Retailers urged to submit

THE DANDENONG Retail Traders’ Association (DRTA) is urging central Dandenong retailers to submit their entries into this year’s excellence awards before end of business on 2 November.
DRTA chairman Roy Aspinall said all retailers in central Dandenong had received entry forms complete with conditions of entry, criteria and judging details.
But if any retailers did miss out, they could obtain a new one, Mr Aspinall said they could contact him on 9793 3487, or Peter Butts on 9706 9465.
Organised by the DRTA, the awards are open to all retailers in central Dandenong whether they are DRTA members or not.
The awards fall into five categories with a sixth, the Greater Dandenong Retailer of the Year, being decided by the judging panel. Other categories include:
Retailer with more than 10 employees.
Retailer with less than 10 employees.
Innovative retailer.
Retailer with excellent store design.
Retailer that represents a culture.
