Warming up for election

A FEDERAL Election is yet to be called but local campaigns have already kicked off.
Deputy leader of the opposition Julia Gillard swept through Dandenong this week, and alongside her was Labor’s Isaacs candidate, the high-profile Mark Dreyfus QC.
Mr Dreyfus is known for his work in the Nowingi toxic dump site case, and has even in the past lent a hand to residents fighting for the Lyndhurst tip to stop taking waste.
The duo were taking a tour of Fletcher Insulation in Dandenong, which produces an environmentally friendly insulation for homes.
