GREATER Dandenong’s young people are being urged to prepare their singing voices and audition for Teen Idol Australia.
Organiser John Zammit described Teen Idol as a talent quest in which each participant is given positive and constructive feedback on their performances.
The competition is open to young people aged between 11 and 17 years.
Contestants can sing any song they like at the audition.
Mr Zammit said Teen Idol encouraged young people to sing their own material, in a bid to uncover Australia’s next youth superstar.
Teen Idol auditions are coming to Greater Dandenong on 8 July at the Drum Theatre and Town Hall.
