THE Commonwealth Bank branch in Dandenong Plaza has received a makeover with the bank hoping to make it more appealing and state-of-the-art.
Dandenong Plaza branch manager Amanda Rowe said the bank was proud of its new look.
“We are very proud to be one of the first branches to showcase the bank’s new look and new banking experience for our customers,” she said. Features of the new branch experience include a friendly concierge service in which branch staff greet customers at the door before guiding them to the telling area. A dedicated refreshment area will provide customers with complimentary tea and coffee, and access to phone and Internet banking will be available.
Other service options include private sales offices, self-service change-counting machines and automatic teller machines.
“The branch is also one of our full automation branches, with coin dispensing and automated deposit acceptance facilities located at the front of the branch, and available outside of business hours,” Ms Rowe said. The new branch was opened by Commonwealth Bank regional general manager for Eastern Victoria Roger Revere and City of Greater Dandenong mayor John Kelly.
