Springvale Country Fire Authority combined with Metropolitan Fire Brigade services in Mulgrave this week to combat a fire that engulfed a double-storey house. The fire started in the unoccupied house in Police Road about 10.15pm on Monday. Oakleigh and Brandon Park MFB units attended along with Springvale CFA. They quickly brought the fire under control and focused on saving the lower floor because the top floor was well alight. Police are investigating the cause of the blaze.Police probe house blaze
