Dandenong RSL secretary John Laughton with grand-daughter Becky Hill.CHRISTMAS came early for more than 300 children in Doveton last weekend after the Dandenong RSL held its Children’s Christmas Party at Myuna Farm.
Dandenong RSL secretary John Laughton said the day was organised by RSL members Bill and Lorraine Knight for friends and families of Dandenong RSL members.
Mr Laughton said up to 700 people attended, packing into the Myuna Farm pavilion.
Santa arrived at 2.15pm to hand out 327 gifts to children, putting a smile on each and every young face.
A raffle later tested the nerves of children, many waiting anxiously for their numbers to be called.
