APPLICATIONS for community grants up to $5000 are now open.
South Eastern Metropolitan Region MP Gordon Rich-Phillips called on community groups to apply.
“Grants of up to $5000 are available to assist organisations to attract new volunteers from diverse backgrounds, create new volunteering opportunities, and strengthen existing volunteer programs,” he said.
“Some of the types of projects that may be funded include obtaining essential equipment to attract, recruit and train more volunteers, and developing accessible website training resources to encourage people with disabilities to become new volunteers.”
Applications can be submitted at anytime throughout the year.
Submission forms and guidelines are available from www.grants.dpcd.vic.gov.au
