OLD DOGS can still learn new tricks.
That’s the message from Greater Dandenong Council as it gears up to hold the Adult Learners Expo next month.
The expo, focusing on education, training and job opportunities will be held at Springvale City Hall on Tuesday 2 September.
It has been organised by Greater Dandenong Libraries’ English Language and Literacy Access Service.
The expo will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Visitors will be able to access information about computer courses and career opportunities, as well as participating in belly dancing, quilting classes and line dancing.
Centrelink, the Australian Electoral Commission, the Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Community Learning Centres and Springvale and Dandenong libraries will also be in attendance to provide a range of information to participants.
For further details please contact Greater Dandenong Libraries’ English Language and Literacy Access on 9238 1490.
