Last years winners of the Danenong Retail Traders’ Association Retail Excellence Awards.DANDENONG’s best retailer for 2008 will be announced at the Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association Awards in November.
DRTA chairman Roy Aspinall this week called on all retailers to support the awards and nominate worthy businesses before 7 November.
“These are an innovative range of awards that recognise excellence amongst retailers in central Dandenong,” Mr Aspinall said.
“They are open to all retailers within those boundaries, whether they be members of the Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association or not.”
“On behalf of our association and the retailers of central Dandenong, I would like to thank the City of Greater Dandenong council for their sponsorship of these awards.”
The 2007 winner of the major award was Crystal Nails with Gemini Catering Equipment the 2006 winner, Compleat Angler in 2005, Answers For Hair in 2004 and Big In Black the inaugural winner in 2003.
