CHRIS McKenna and Promac Productions return to the Drum Theatre with Pirates of Penzance in February.
Mr McKenna said his version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular musical is a mix of fine music and comedic delights.
“Especially since we only have a cast of six for a show that normally uses 35,” he said.
“It makes for a truly enjoyable show.”
The show stars popular award winning actor/singer Brian Hannan, playing the roles of The Major-General, The Police Sergeant, Ruth and Luciano Pavarotti. Mr McKenna will play the role of Frederic.
“It is such a great cast and it’s wonderful to be able to bring the show back to Dandenong,” Mr McKenna said.
“The show is great for the whole family it has all of the original music with a couple of surprises.”
Pirates of Penzance is showing at the Drum Theatre as part of its Encore Series on Thursday 26 February. Morning show: 10.30am. Afternoon show: 1.30pm. For further details 9771 6666.
