MUSIC filled the air on Sunday at Wachter Reserve, Keysborough.
The first concert, held by the City of Greater Dandenong, was a resounding success with a large crowd attending.
Councillor Ros Blades said the day, run as part of the co-ordinated music in the parks program for the community, was fantastic.
“The response was great ,” she said.
“I letterboxed about 1000 leaflets myself.
“Not to mention the day was assisted by the weather.”
She said it was wonderful to see the large number of local community members enjoying the show, having barbecues and using the nearby playground equipment.
“The Lions, as usual, did a brilliant job cooking the sausages,” she said.
Concert a big day out
