A QUIET Noble Park street was the centre of attention on Sunday with a house severely damaged by fire.
The fire, in Elonera Road, was brought under control by firefighters from Dandenong and Noble Park within 20 minutes, but not without drama.
There were initial reports of people possibly still trapped inside, but after a thorough search by firefighters with breathing apparatus it was found that this was not the case.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated but is not deemed suspicious.
