Witnesses sought over knife attack

DANDENONG police are calling for witnesses to a stabbing at Chisholm TAFE last Tuesday.
Detective Senior Constable Stuart Freeman said a 21-year-old Dandenong male was walking through the car park of the campus at about 1.30pm on Tuesday 2 June and was approached by three African and two Caucasian males asking for a cigarette.
The man was threatened and then slashed across the chest with a box cutter or similar weapon. Nothing was stolen. Descriptions have been released of two of the offenders. One is said to be about 20 years old, of African descent, six foot tall with short curly black hair, wearing a red T-shirt, loose cream dress pants and white shoes.
The other is said to be approximately six foot tall, also of African descent, wearing a white T-shirt with silver circle in the centre, black cap, light grey pants, white shoes and with a silver chain around his neck.
