A DANDENONG man has been charged with falsely representing himself as a returned soldier.
Police will allege the 57-year-old man claimed to be a Vietnam veteran who had completed two tours of duty as a military policeman.
The man is also believed to have worn service medals, claiming they were bestowed on him as a result of his war service.
He was bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates Court on 11 November.
